Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Evidence for Integration
The Anlyan Center, Yale School of Medicine, New Haven

More information here.

We are proud to announce the first symposium on Integrative Medicine at Yale! Through this event we aim to:

  1. Showcase the wealth of important complementary and alternative (CAM) medicine research and therapies already in progress by Yale researchers and clinicians.
  2. Educate and increase awareness among the Yale community about integrative medicine.
  3. Support interdisciplinary discussion and collaboration on future projects and endeavors.

We invite all Yale faculty and students to attend; affiliates of the medical and nursing school are our primary target audience, but in keeping with our mission is to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, we warmly welcome interested students and faculty from any school or department at Yale. Interested faculty and students from nearby medical schools are also invited to attend. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit will be offered for physicians who attend, and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available for nurses and other eligible practitioners.

Call For Abstracts and Presentation Proposals (closed)

We invite Yale researchers, students, and medical and social science professionals from all disciplines who are involved in practice or research to submit abstracts for poster presentations and/or proposals for presentations. A small number of proposals will also be accepted from non-Yale-affiliated clinicians and researchers.

Posters may describe quantitative or qualitative research results, as well as clinical models for integrative medical care. Previously published research and preliminary results will be considered for acceptance in addition to unpublished abstracts.

Please feel free to direct any questions about the conference or call for abstracts to: Rachel Friedman.
