MBSR is a widely-studied, evidence-based intervention that has shown to be helpful in reducing stress levels as well as specific clinical symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. The course meets for two hours per week and includes a half-day retreat on a weekend. Participants receive a binder of educational materials and four guided home practices.
